Hello Friends. Tell me what you think about my new design - remember I am doing this by myself so you can imagine? I do like the muted colors I just wish I could figure our how to make a better shop title. I used fotoflexer, recommeded by Megan at http://www.shabbyblogs.com/ and it worked just fine but it would not accept the "ñ" letter on the word "Doña". I can't seem to figure that out. Any suggestions? Really I must have the correct spelling or else the title will loose it's meaning. Also, anyone have the answer as to how to widen the blog, eveything seems to be so close togther. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you friends and I hope you all have a restful and blessed weekend.

Meet Ann Burt, Retablo Artist
Retablos are paintings depicting various religious images that were very popular in the 17th, 18th and 19th century in Mexico and were brought over to the United States by Franciscan monks.
Here is an article where Ann was featured. She is a very talented artist who's artistic gift directed her to return to her faith.

Blogging has been so much fun. I've met many people who have shared their experiences and knowledge with me and I appreciate that very much.
I wanted to share some photos of our yard and our boy Louie Louie. That was his name when we rescued him and figured we didn't want to confuse the guy even more. My favorite name for him is Lulu Belle!

Some of my goodies. I like to organize because if not, I end up with 20 of the same thing. The cabinet in the middle belonged to my mother. My brother made it for her when he was in high school.
