In The Studio

Hello Friends.  Just wanted to share a few pictures of the pieces I am currently working on.  I'm finding that I am really liking tarnished silver and metals in general.  They both go really nice with all the vintage bling and beads I've been hoarding.  I am ready to part with some of it and ready to buy more.

Love this huge mother of pearl cross

Check these huge jade beads and JJPII

Ahh! Can't wait to show you the final product with this medal of the Holy Family

I found this beautiful paper plate at the Laney College Fea Market in Oakland

Enjoy and have a blessed weekend everyone!

Now that really is something. I see other people who work on tarnished silvers and metal(as you say) and I never get tired of the things they make with these objects. Your's is excellent. I love it! Great work! The good think about being artisitic is that there are so many ways in which to be artistic and this certainly is one of the best. Have a great holiday weekend.

I love your pieces. I, too, was an educator by day for many years. Now I am retired and doing art. It is a wonderful life. Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope to see you there again.

Oh what yummy pieces!! Adore them! Thank you, so much, for your kind words of support and heartfelt thoughts; it truly means so much to me. Now that I know you work with religious relics, I will think of you each time I find a rosary; I collect them. I haven't incorporated them into my work yet, but I have found some beauties. All the best to you and thank you again!
