All The Wild Flowers

Yesterday my husband and I went for a short drive into the foothills near our home.  We drove probably about 30 miles up going towards Yosemite.  Normally there are many more flowers but not this year.  Maybe we went too late.  We saw purple lupine, baby blue-eyes or flax, common moneky flower or mustard flower (can't tell which is which), catalina ironwood and of course the ever popular state flower, the California poppy.  You'll see some random pictures of some gorgeous trees and Pine Flat Dam.

Hope you enjoy seeing a little bit of the central California foothills.

The Catalina Ironwood is my favorite - it looks like a blanket of snow huh?

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Taking a long coffee break

Hello Blog Friend,

I've been taking a long coffee break while I let my thumb rest - I have not had the surgery yet.  It was better for a while, and I thought I would not need to have the surgery, but I think I am prolonging the inevitable.  I'll keep you posted.  Blessings to you always!

This beautiful tea cup is courtesy of the The Graphics Fairy.  Thank you Karen.
