I am a day late but nonetheless, here is my Blessed Mother.  

The Prayer Of Mary 

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my 
Savior for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed:
the Almighty has done great things for me,and holy is his Name.

He has mercy on those who fear him

in every generation.

He has shown the strength of his arm,

he has scattered the proud in their conceit.

He has cast down the mighty from their thrones,

and has lifted up the lowly.

He has filled the hungry with good things,

and the rich he has sent away empty.

He has come to the help of his servant Israel 

for he remembered his promise of mercy,

the promise he made to our fathers,

to Abraham and his children forever.

Fall Decor

Finally finished.  I took my time and enjoyed it thoroughly.  Here's a few pictures.  I love how the doily wrapped pumpkins turned out.  All the doilies and other crochet items are either from my mom or from my aunts - I've managed to salvage quite a few.

Hello everyone

Hope everyone is fine and getting ready for all the wonderful festivities, and family get togethers looming just around the corner.  I thought I share pictures of projects I'm not done working on, even though Christmas is around the corner, lol. 

 I am attempting to use as many family hand crochet goodies that I can.  In the next post I'll show you a close-up of the doily wrapped pumpkins.

My Catalina and Alfredo, my beloved parents who I miss so much more during the holidays.

Oh! My goodness...

Hello everyone

I came across this photo while searching for First Communion ideas for my niece and nephews who will receive their First Reconciliation in May of next year.  I laughed so hard because it reminded me of how I have been feeling lately...I just want to stick my tongue out at some people...gees, but only if I could.  So I will secretly keep her image in my memory and flash it in my head every time I need to, ha ha. 

 She looks a little mean, huh?  I don't mean to offend anyone, it's just funny.  Who do you think she was sticking her tongue out to?  Her brother, I bet.
